Adam has broad experience covering and promoting the energy industry, and he has planned and executed communications strategies for organizations ranging from nonprofits to $30 billion corporations. He has worked on several aspects of media and professional communications in print, in broadcast and online.
His career began at a small professional association and continued in public affairs at the University of Oklahoma. After that, he spent a decade writing and editing news and features for news websites across the country.
He then worked at Chesapeake Energy Corp. before joining The Journal Record, a newspaper that covers statewide business and politics. He managed coverage of industries including:

- Real estate
- Tribal business

Adam grew up in Phoenix before enrolling at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He is also a committed father, dog owner, runner and soccer player.
