In just its third year, Candor was recognized by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce as the second  fastest-growing business in the Oklahoma City area.

The Metro50 awards recognize greater Oklahoma City’s fastest-growing privately-held companies of at least $1 million in annual revenue.  Rankings are based on percentage of revenue growth over the most recent three-year period.

Candor is a public relations and business consulting firm that provides a wide range of services to businesses, associations and non-profits.  Founded in 2012 by principals Karen Wicker and Jim Kessler, Candor now has 10 full-time employees and recently moved into new offices located on Oklahoma City’s historic Film Row.

“We are thrilled to be included among this top group of entrepreneurs and business owners,” said Wicker, founder and president of Candor.  “Receiving this honor is beyond our expectations for a firm so young.  We have worked very hard to earn the trust of our clients and this award validates our approach to providing professional counsel and services that is responsive to our clients’ needs.

“It’s a remarkable honor and due in great part to our position that a healthy reputation is sustained by ensuring it sits on a solid foundation.  This is why we offer business consulting alongside our PR services, and Candor’s growth is testimony that the market agrees,” said Kessler.

Candor received the recognition at the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce Metro 50 awards ceremony on September 29, 2015 at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
