ESG Report Case Study

CLIENT SITUATION

Lagoon Water Midstream, a well-established and rapidly growing company in the oil & natural gas industry, approached Candor to produce its first environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) report. As ESG reports are becoming more popular and essential to business, Lagoon wanted to demonstrate industry leadership and provide reporting on par with industry peers.

PLANNING & EXECUTION

Lagoon leadership desired a short, eye-catching and easily digestible ESG report. They also wanted a one-sheet version they could share outside the industry, namely with consumers.

Candor built the content based on key subject areas: a CEO letter, about section, sustainability overview, health & safety information, employee demographics and community giving.

RESULTS

Candor created a visual ESG report and one-sheet, distinguishing Lagoon from others in the industry and delivering beautiful and functional products.

Additionally, Lagoon participates in reviews by GRESB Infrastructure, an internally recognized, reputable sustainability benchmark tool. In their 2022 assessment, Lagoon’s score increased from 87 to 96 (out of 100), partly related to the first-time issuance of an ESG report.
