Brett boasts over 30 years’ experience as a public relations practitioner, excelling in public affairs, media relations, crisis communications, grassroots efforts, and thought leadership. Throughout his marketing and communications career, he has worked with clients from various industries and interests, ranging from Fortune 100 firms to entrepreneurial startups and nonprofits.    

Brett’s community involvement includes:

He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and minor in marketing from Texas Tech University. Brett enjoys traveling — especially in New Mexico, where he’s from originally — the outdoors, studying world history, exploring art galleries and museums and rooting for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. 

Fun facts: he once spent Thanksgiving Day with the actor Robert Duvall and was an extra in the sci-fi cult favorite “The Man Who Fell to Earth” starring David Bowie.
